About Me.
I am an educational leader with over 35 years of experience in both Georgia and Florida. I earned my Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Florida Gulf Coast University. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of leading transformative efforts in school systems, utilizing innovative, research-based strategies to drive student success.
Currently, I serve as the Superintendent of Schools for Grady County Public Schools. I’ve held various leadership roles where I’ve focused on strategic planning, operational management, and curriculum development. Leading districts through accreditation processes, implementing district-wide literacy initiatives, and creating targeted intervention programs are among my proudest accomplishments. Fluent in Spanish, I believe strong communication and sound decision-making are key to fostering collaboration and developing emerging leaders.
I’ve always been committed to equity and innovation, working to ensure all students have access to the resources they need to succeed. My involvement in professional organizations and the community has given me valuable perspectives on how to continuously improve the educational experience for students and staff alike.
